Two Reasonable Statements

One statement is negative, and the other is positive. Both statements are important. Each statement is true independent of the other. These two statements are controversial. They shouldn't be, but they are. Whether you agree with these statements, they are reasonable. They are consistent with the historical and empirical sciences. These statements are not based on religion, but science, logic, and mathematics.

When we say evolution, we do not mean micro evolution - minor variations which are already programmed for in the genetic code (like cyclical variations in finch beaks) or bacteria "evolving" into bacteria or the loss of code that makes someone immune to malaria. Rather, we mean macro evolution - changes that require substantial amounts of new genetic code to make new body plans.

Short version . . .

Evolution is impossible.

There had to be an Intelligent Designer.

Long version . . .

There are strong arguments from historical science (paleontology), empirical sciences (biology and chemistry), sound reasoning, information science, and mathematics that evolution did not happen and that it is in fact impossible.

There is strong evidence - such as algorithms in DNA, computer code features (delimiters, addresses, and syntax rules), irreducibly complex machines (turbines and robots), interdependent systems (Krebs Cycle), data storage and retrieval systems, and data interchange networks - that an intellect with the capacity for forward looking and keeping multiple complex concepts in mind simultaneously was required for the making of living things.
